Salon Policies
Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations/rescheduling done within 24 hours of your appointment will be charged 50% of services booked. All no call/no shows will be charged 100% of services booked. We understand things happen and in the event of a true, unforeseen emergency, these fees can be waived.
First Time Appointments:
Arriving 15 minutes late, or later, to your appointment could result in the need to reschedule and include the rescheduling fee.
Lobby Policy:
We’re happy you’ve chosen Modern Hair for your services! While you wait for your appointment to begin, please be courteous to others waiting in the lobby. We ask that you avoid using speakerphone or taking phone calls inside, and to please keep your volume at a respectable level.
Pet Policy:
We love pets! But unfortunately, we can’t have them here in the salon. Please leave your furry ones at home so we can ensure a safe and sanitary environment for everyone here. If you have a service animal, please contact the salon ahead of time.

Payment Policy:
Payment is required the day of your service. Payment methods accepted: cash, card, + check. Your stylist may also accept Venmo, PayPal, Cashapp, etc. Check with your stylist prior to your appointment if you wish to use a payment app.
Refund Policy:
While we strive to ensure all clients are satisfied with their service, we understand that may not always be the case. If you’re unhappy with your results, please let your stylist know before you leave. We cannot offer refunds, but will do our best to ensure you leave happy.
Reservation Policy:
We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion. Clients who exhibit loud or aggressive behavior, violate our code of conduct, take property, or otherwise pose a danger to our staff and customers will be denied services and asked to leave the premises immediately.
